won't you forgive me
in front of this wallpaper
of dreams?

will you let me
take back the pain,
for you to forget and not
have a remembrance of the pain
when you hear a name
on a random day.

This postcard series follows this chain of events: i visit a flea market (notably the Trödelmarkt Aachener Platz in Düsseldorf) to pick out old/vintage postcards that have an image that catches my attention or speak to me; i then write something prompted by this image, spontaneously, in front of my typewriter. Not all postcards make their way to this series because i decide to keep them for my personal collection.
